Absenz Syrup is an anti-epileptic medicine used to treat seizures/epilepsy. It works by slowing down the hyperactivity of the brain and nerves in the brain which cause seizures (fits). It also helps reduce symptoms such as confusion, uncontrollable jerking movements, loss of awareness, and fear or anxiety.

Absenz Syrup may be taken with or without food but try to take it at the same time each day. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get the maximum benefit. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Your doctor will advise the right dose for you. You should continue taking it for as long as your doctor has told you to, even if you feel well. If you stop or miss doses your seizures could get worse.

APP UP PLUS is a combination of Cyproheptadine and Tricholine Citrate which belongs to the group of medicines called Antihistamines and Bile acid-binding agents respectively. It is indicated for loss of appetite, weight loss and anorexia nervosa (eating disorder). It is used as an adjunct to anti-tubercular and antiretroviral regimens for weight gain.

It is also used to treat allergic rhinitis (allergic reaction that causes sneezing, congestion, itchy nose and sore throat), conjunctivitis (inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva), migraine (recurrent throbbing headache that typically affects one side of the head), asthma (airways become inflamed, narrow and swell and produce extra mucus and it causes breathing difficulty) and hepatic disorders. In children, it is indicated to gain weight who have an inadequate dietary intake or loss of appetite and who suffer from anemia, liver or digestive disorder.

APP UP PLUS is not recommended for use in patients who have or had angle-closure glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer, symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate), bladder neck obstruction, and pyloroduodenal obstruction. Avoid consumption of alcohol during treatment with APP UP PLUS, as it may increase the risk of stomach problems. Before taking APP UP PLUS, inform your doctor if you have a history of bronchial asthma, increased intraocular pressure, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, liver or kidney problems and high blood pressure.

APP UP PLUS is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. It is recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age) after doctor’s advice. The most common side effects of taking APP UP PLUS are drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia, blurred vision, loss of coordination, skin rash, gastrointestinal upset, nausea, or vomiting. Consult your doctor if any of the symptom worsens.

Looz Oral Solution is a type of sugar used to treat constipation. It is known as a laxative and makes your stool easier to pass by drawing water into your bowel. It is also used to treat hepatic encephalopathy (a liver disease causing confusion, tremor, decreased level of consciousness).

Looz Oral Solution can be taken with or without food. You should take this medicine as advised by your doctor. Use this medicine regularly to get the maximum benefit and try to take it at the same time(s) each day. Your dose may go up or down depending on how well it is working. Do not take more than you are advised to and, if you miss a dose, do not take an extra one to make up for it. This medicine takes at least 48 hours to work. Talk to your doctor if you are still constipated after 3 days.
